Abstract
[Objective] To evaluate the accuracy and applicability of wrist electronic sphygmomanometer in blood pressure measuring of out-patients. [Methods] Blood pressure was measured with wrist sphygmomanometer and with platform sphygmomanometer for 180 out-patients,and was the blood pressure was compared by self-comparison;The accuracy rank of wrist electronic sphygmomanometer was evaluated with the standards of BHS. [Results] No significant difference was found between the systolic pressure detected by the two kinds of systolic pressure among out-patients(t = 1.18,P﹥0.05) ,while there was significant difference between the diastolic pressure detected by the two kinds of systolic pressure(t = 2.75,P﹤0.01) . The values of systolic pressure and diastolic pressure of wrist sphygmomanometer was higher than that with platform sphygmomanometer for 5mmHg and 8mmHg,respectively. There was no significant difference between the values of systolic pressure and diastolic pressure detected by electronic sphygmomanometer and platform sphygmomanometer(t1 = 1.69,t2 = 1.31,P﹥0.05) ;According to the standards of BHS,the diastolic and systolic pressure value using electronic sphygmomanometer was D rank,indicating the accuracy was limited. [Conclusion] The wrist electronic sphygmomanometer could use in blood pressure measuring of out-patients,but the application had some limitation.
