Abstract
Objective To study the expression of MTS1 in gastric cancer and its clincial significance. Methods MTS1 gene products were observed in 65 gastric cancer with LSAB immunohistochemical methods. Results Expression of MTS1 was positively related to the degree of differentiation and the prognosis of patient and negatively related to the depth of invasion and lymph node metastasis. Conclusions MTS1 may play some roles in the development of gastric cancer, and was related with partial biological behavior.Expression of MTS1 may serve as an important molecular biological indicator in diagnosing and predicting the prognosis of gastric cancer.[
