Quality investigation and analysis 1000 Traditional Chinese Medicine prescription choosed randomly in our hospital

Objective:To promote the standardization of prescription writing, advance rational drug use and promote the clinical safe, the understanding implements newly prescription management way Chinese Medicine out-patient service prescription writing quality, and analyze of the common quality problems of prescription. Methods:Randomly choosed 1 000 Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) prescription from June 2008 to March 2009(100 per month) for analysis, and carried on classification to the doubt prescription. Results:The prescription had failed 232, accounting for 23.2% of the prescription spot checks, which did not regulate prescription writing were 113 and irrational prescription drugs were 119, including 8 existing prescription written there wrere not standardized drug unreasonable question. Not regulate prescription and found more focused on individual doctors. Conclusion:The existence problem is more in the Chinese Medicine out-patient service prescription, according to the circumstances it is necessary to enlargement prescription management way of implement strength, and strengthen the supervision and check of prescription, promote prescription quality.
