Ultrasound diagnosis of obstructive jaundice

Objective To study the ultrasonic manifestations of obstructive jaundice to improve the ultrasound diagnostic coincidence rate of obstructive causes.Methods Combined with surgical pathological results,the ultrasonographic characteristics in 115 cases of obstructive jaundice were analyzed.Results The diagnostic coincidence rates were 96.5% for obstructive sites and 89.6% for the obstructive causes.103 cases were definitely diagnosed by ultrasound,accounting for 89.6%,misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis was in 12 cases(10.4%).Conclusion Ultrasound can not only clear the lesion sites,but also understand the reasons,which is the preferred method for the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of obstructive jaundice.
