Abstract
Objective To analyze the amount of volatile content,borneol,in compound Kushen suppository.Methods Gas chromatography assay was used with quartz micro-column,Methyl salicylate used as the internal standard substance,fixed liquid using DB-WAX,FID as detector.Results A good linear relationship was observed when the concentration of borneol was in the range of 0.1mg/mL~0.5mg/mL(r=0.9996).The average recovery was 100.85%(n=6).Conclusion The method is simple,accurate and reliable,and it may provide a method for drug quality control.
