Significance of Anti-SmD1 Antibody in the Diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Abstract
Objective To investigate the significance of anti-SmD1 antibody in the diagnosis of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods Serum samples of 120 patients with SLE and 230 cases without SLE were tested to detection of antinuclear antibody,anti-dsDNA antibody,anti-Sm antibody and anti-SmD1 antibody,respectively.Results The sensitivity of anti-SmD1 antibody were 69.17% and the specificity was 97.82%.Conclusion Detection of anti-SmD1 antibody had both high sensitivity and specificity in diagnosis of SLE.The determination of anti-SmD1 antibody can improve the sensitivity and efficiency in diagnosis of SLE.
