Significance of Detection of Antinuclear Antibodies Spectrum in Diagnosis and Treatment of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

Objective To explore the value of detection of Antinuclear antibodies spectrum(ANAs) in diagnosis and treatment of systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods The serum ANA level and other fifteen autoantibodies levels in ANAs of 102 patients with SLE(SLE group),32 patients with other rheumatic diseases(disease control group) and 30 healthy people(control group) were detected with indirect immunofluorescence and immunoblotting method respectively.Results The positive rate of anti-nRNP/Sm antibody,anti-Sm antibody,anti-dsDNA antibody,anti-nucleosome antibody,anti-histone antibody and anti-ribosomal P protein antibody in ANA and ANAs between SLE group with disease control and control group showed significant difference(P0.01).The positive rates of two or more autoantibodies were 93.1% in SLE group.The levels of ANA,anti-Sm antibody,anti-dsDNA antibody and anti-nucleosome antibody were decreased respectively after therapy in 20 patients with SLE that the four antibodies were positive originally.Conclusion The combined detection of ANAs may be valuable on diagnosis,differential diagnosis and effective treatment for patients with SLE.
