Abstract
Objective To discuss the effectiveness of individual community nursing intervention in patients with hypertension. Methods One hundred patients with hypertension were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 50 patients in each group. All patients were treated with calcium antagonist, diuretics and other conventional drugs. In experimental group, special project was established in the community health service center and individual community nursing intervention was performed in accordance with the classification management requirements. In control group, patients were given routine outpatient nursing measures. The compliance behaviors(regular medication, active measurement of blood pressure and periodic physical examination) and the awareness of health knowledge(diagnostic criteria of hypertension, complications and hazards,self-measurement of blood pressure, rational diet and movement methods) were observed 6 months after nursing intervention. In addition, systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)were measured before and 6 months after nursing intervention. Results Compared with control group, compliance behaviors and awareness of health knowledge were significantly improved and SBP and DBP were obviously decreased in experimental group 6 months after nursing intervention(P0.05).Conclusion Individual community nursing intervention can improve the awareness rate of health knowledge, compliance behaviors and blood pressure control in patients with hypertension.
