Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical effect of modified B-Lynch suture in treatment of uterine atony postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section. Methods: 58 puerperas with uterine atony postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section admitted from February 2010 to April 2012 were selected and divided into control group(n=26 cases) and observation group(n=32 cases) randomly, the intraoperative and postoperative indicators and postoperative recovery were compared. Results: There was no significant difference in the operative time and intraoperative blood loss between two groups(P0.05),the amount of bleeding 24 hour after operation in the observation group was significanly less than that in the control group, and the Hb level after surgery in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the incidence rates of postpartum blood transfusion, postoperative infection and puerperal morbidity in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P0.05).The lochia of clean time and menstrual cramps time were both significantly shorter than those in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Modified B-Lynch suture should be taken as the first method to treat uterine atony postpartum hemorrhage after cesarean section, which could improve the hemostatic effect and promote the recovery of patients.
