Abstract

Objective:To study the change law and clinical significance of serum C-reactive protein on patients with acute cerebral infarction. Methods: Serum C-reactive protein level in 90 patients of acute cerebral infarction were measured by Using immunonephelometric at day 1,7,14,and were controlled with 80 cases of healthy people.Result: Serum C-reactive protein level began to rise after occurrence of infarction in the first day, rising to the climax in 1 week, decreasing afterward, but its values were significantly higher than control group(P0.01).Conclusion: Serum C-reactive protein may be play a role in the occurrence and development of acute cerebral infarction, dynamic determination of serum C-reactive protein may be an index that can be used to estimate severity and prognosis of acute cerebral infarction.
