Abstract
Objective To study the clinical application of the serum C reactive protein in acute cerebral infarction. Methods 129 patients with acute cerebral infarction, who were hospitalized in our neurology department from May 2011 to July 2012,were selected as the Acute Cerebral Infarction Group(ACI group).105 peope, who were proved to be heatlthy in physical examination, were selected as the control group.Detect their serum C reactive protein levels(hs CRP) and give a comparative analysis of them. Results The serum creactive protein level of the ACI Group was obviously higher than that of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P0.01). The cerebral infarction area and neurological deficit of the ACI Group were positively related to their CRP level. Conclusion The serum C reactive protein is an important and independent risk factor for acute cerebral infarction. It can be an index for diagnosing and evaluating the condition of patients with acute cerebral infarction.
