Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the feasibility of using MB-80 dynamic microorganism detection system (dynamic turbidimetry) for detection of bacterial endotoxin in blood bag.[Methods]The detection method of bacterial endotoxin by dynamic turbidimetry was established. Then 20 samples of blood bags were tested by using dynamic turbidimetry and gel experiments, the results were compared.[Results]The test results of the above 2 methods both showed that 18 out of 20 samples were qualified,2 were unqualified.[Conclusion]The detection of bacterial endotoxin in blood bag by MB-80 dynamic microorganism detection system with dynamic turbidimetry is feasible.
