Abstract
Objective To investigate the use of 32-Well Tube Reader in the testing of bacterial endotoxin in blood centers. Methods Raw and subsidiary materials were randomly sampled and analyzed for bacterial endotoxin using the 32-Well Tube Reader.Linearity, reproducibility and the sensitivity were determined from the standard curves. Results The tube reader was stable and sensitive in the determination of endotoxin. The levels of endotoxin in the samples were well below the required limit. Conclusion The 32-Well Tube Reader is suitable for the testing of endotoxin in the blood centers.
