Abstract

Objective To quantitatively determine the content of bacterial endotoxin in blood preserving fluid Ⅱ by the dynamic turbidity method. Methods Through the interference test, quantitatively adding standard endotoxin to the sample, the recovery rate should be ranged from 50% to 200%.Results After diluting the blood preserving fluid Ⅱ with 80 times amount of water, the interference in limulus test could be efficiently eliminated. Conclusion The Ati 320 bacterial endotoxin radiometer could efficiently and quantitatively determine the content of bacterial endotoxin in the sample, and substitute the gel method.
