796 cases of genitourinary tract mycoplasma cultivation and antibiotic sensitivity analysis

Objective To investigate the prevalence and antibiotic susceptibility of genital mycoplasma infection in the local area. Methods To detect mycoplasma and their drug sensitivity with culture method. Results The infectious rates of mycoplasma among 796 STD high-risk population were32. 3% ,from then rates were in men 11. 4% ,and were in women were 45. 3%. Among these pat-ients positive UU and positive Mh were found in 234 patients( 29. 3 % ) ,9 patients ( 1. 2% ) respect-ively. And the mixed infection by Mycoplasma hominis ( Mh) and Ureaplama urealyticum ( Uu) were 14 cases( 1. 8% ) respectively. Resistance of Uu to Ofloxacin,Sparfloxacin and Levofloxacin were 23. 1% ,18. 0% and 14. 1% ,respectively. Resistance to Ofloxa-cin,Sparfloxacin and Levofloxacin in both Uu and Mh isolate were 57. 1% ,28. 6% and28. 5% ,respectively. Doxycycline,Josamycin,Minocycline and Clarithromycin had the higher bacteriostaic ability. Conclusion The antibiotic resistance of myco-plasma is diffetent in vary areas,must be refereneed of antibiotic susceptibility test results before to select proper drugs for treatment.
