Abstract

Objective To study the mycoplasma infection and analyze the drug resistance of the patients with non gonococcal urethritis. Methods Ureaplasma urealyticum(Uu) and mycoplasma hominis(Mh) were detected, and the result of the antimicrobial drug susceptibility test was analyzed. Results Among 1 122 cases of NGU patients with mycoplasma Uu and(or) Mh,574 cases were positive, with the total detection rate being 51.1%(574/1 122),Uu-positive rate 81.0%(465/574),Mh positive rate 6.4%(37/574),and Uu + Mh mixed infection was 12.5%(72/574).The infection rate in men was 33.4%(192/574) while in women was 66.6%(382/574).Mycoplasma infection rate of women was higher than that of men(P0.05).High sensitivity of antibiotics of 574 cases was doxycycline(86.1%),clarithromycin(84.0%),josamycin(81.9%) and roxithromycin(80.8%).The high antibiotic resistance was ciprofloxacin(69.9%),ofloxacin(60.3%),sparfloxacin(42.2%),levofloxacin(30.0%) and spectinomycin(28.9%).Conclusion Mycoplasma infection is the main cause of NGU.There is an important significance in minitoring the resistance of mycoplasma in guiding the rational use of antibiotics clinicaly.
