Abstract
Objective To investigate the timing and efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen assisted for treating the patients with cerebral infarction. Methods One hundred and thirty patients with cerebral infarction in our hospital with hyperbaric oxygen therapy were divided into within 24 hours group,2-7 days group,8-14 days group and without hyperbaric oxygen group according to the timing of treatment and treatment methods. The clinical efficacy was compared in the four groups. Results The total effective rate receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy was significantly higher than those who did not receive hyperbaric oxygen(P 0.05);the curing rate within 24 hours group was significantly higher than the other groups(P 0.05);the total effective rate within 24 hours group and the 2-7 days group were higher than the 8-14 days group and 14 days group(P 0.05).Conclusion The best time of receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the patients with cerebral infarction is 24 hours after onset of the disease and the efficacy result within a week receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy is better than that after a week.
