Clinical study of hyperbaric oxygen therapy effect on patients with different stage cerebral infarction

Abstract
Objective To study the effect of hyperbaric oxygen therapy on patients with different stage cerebral infarction.Methods 130 patients with cerebral infarction were randomly divided into early treatment group(67 cases) and late treatment group(63 cases).Two groups were treated with hyperbaric oxygen combined with clinical conventional treatment.All patients were treated with hyperbaric oxygenation once a day for twenty days.Results Comparing with late treatment group,the basal recovery rate and total effective rate of early treatment group were more significant different(P0.01).Conclusions Hyperbaric oxygen therapy has a better effect for early stage cerebral infarction.It was also found that the earlier of the treatment is associated with the better prognosis.
