Efficacy of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for 56 patients with cerebral infarction

Objective To study the curative effect of cerebral infarction by hyperbaric oxygen therapy,and provide a reference for the clinic.Methods By the prospective study method,56 cases patients with cerebral infarction as the experimental group were treated in our hospital from January 2009 to June 2012,by hyperbaric oxygen therapy,in the same period 56 cases patients with cerebral infarction as a control group were given the integrated treatment,blood rheology and efficacy of the two groups were compared after 4 weeks of treatment.Results The experimental group and control group made a comparison before treatment and after treatment after four weeks,whole blood viscosity,plasma viscosity,fibrinogen and red blood cells deposited be compared,difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The total effective rate(powerfully+effective) was 91.07%(51/56),the control group was 66.07%.Two groups total effectiveness were compared,the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Hyperbaric oxygen therapy in patients with cerebral infarction curative effect is distinct,it should be widely applied.
