Abstract

[Objective]To investigate the prevention effect of nausea and vomiting of tropisetron in postoperative total uterectomy patients venously analgecised by fentanyl.[Method]One hundred and fifty total uterectomy patients analgecized by fentanyl through patient - contolled venous analgesia(PCVA) have been divided into two groups.1.2mg of fentanyl and 5mg of tropisetron added by saline up to 240 ml was prepscribed to study group(75 cases). In the contrast group(75 cases) there is no tropisetron.[Result]The rate of nausea and vomiting in the study group(9.33%) is statistically lower than that of the constrast group(45.33%).X2 = 24.4686,P 0.01.The rate of adverse reaction in the study group(12.00%) is statistically lower than that of the constrast group(25.33%).X2 = 4.3911,P0.05,[Conclusion]tropisetron effectively prevented the side effect of nausea and vomiting induced by analgesia in postoperative total uterectomy patients. The curative effect is remarkable and is suitable to be popularized clinically.
