Observation of therapeutic effect of Huoxue Jiangzhi fang on rats with experimental hyperlipemia

Abstract

Objective To study the effect of Huoxue Jiangzhi fang on rats with experimental hyperlipemia.Methods 60 Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups according to body weight.Except normal control group(NC),rats in each group were fed by high fat diet for establishing hyperlipemia model.NC and high-fat control group(HFC) were given distilled water;positive control group(PC) was given Xuezhikang total glucoside tablet 0.047g/kg;dosage of 10.26、5.13、2.56 g/kg of Huoxue Jiangzhi fang was lavaged respectively once a day for 21 days.TC,LDL-C and HDL-C in serum of rats were detected respectively.Results Huoxue Jiangzhi capsule can significantly decrease TC、LDL-,and increase HDL-C in serum of Wistar rats with experimental hyperlipemia(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion Huoxue Jiangzhi fang was effective on rats with experimental hyperlipemia.
