Reflection on Construction of Faculty Team in Municipal Open University

Successfully running Open University is the strategic goal of national education development,which proposes higher requirements on the construction of teaching staff.The research on the current situation of the Open University teaching staff in a city shows that there are still some problems like insufficient senior teachers,unreasonable specialty structure and inadequate management on external lecturers.Therefore,priority should be given to improving discipline construction,strengthening young teacher training,improving teacher management system,enhancing the construction of teaching team and promoting the scientific research ability of teachers.Only in this way can we be able to construct a high-quality teaching team for Open University so as to meet the needs of teaching and scientific research.
