Heavenly Principle and Human Activity:A Side View of New Learning in Qing Dynasty

Physics,after being introduced in the late of Qing Dynasty,is accepted by the intelligentsia in its function of inquiring into the world.In the end of nineteenth century,with the growth of new learning,the reformers took the law of natural science as the truth of the world,deduced human activities from the frame of science,and devised the law of social politics based on physics.It became one important way of comment in new learning and a sign of learning style changing since 1894,and also influenced the way of thinking in intelligentsia,which could be looked as the new symbol of new learning.
