Abstract
The extraction condition of the yellow pigment from the maize powder are studied.Results show that the maximum absorbance wavelengh of the maize yellow pigment is 446 nm,and the 95% alcohol solvent is optimal for the extraction.The optimal extraction conditions obtained from the orthogonal experiment are as following: the pH value of the extraction reagent equals 6.00,the weight ratio of the extraction reagent to the maize powder equals eight,the temperature is 65℃ and the extraction time is 2.5 hours.
