Abstract
Objective To provide scientifical basis for clinically targeted antimicrobial therapy, and to study the distribution of common pathogens and drug resistance to common antibiotics in patients with septicemia. Methods By using BACT/ALERT 3D automatic blood culture system for culturing blood samples, then the instrument of French made BioMerieux VITEK-2 Compact was applied to identify and analyze the positive isolates. Results Four hundred and ninety nine strains of pathogens were isolated from 5 448 samples, including 241 strains of Gram-negative bacilli accounted for 48.3%,234 strains of Gram-positive cocci accounted for 46.9%,24 strains of fungi accounted for 4.8% and the total positive rate was 9.2%.The top five pathogens with isolation rate higher than others were coagulase-negative Staphylococcus accounted for 22.4%,Escherichia coli accounted for 2.2%,Klebsiella pseudomonas accounted for 7.6%,Staphylococcus aureus accounted for 6.4% and fungi accounted for 4.8%.The drug with lowest resistance rate of Escherichia coli was imipenem.Klebsiella pneumoniae had no resistance to imipenem and levofloxacin. Conclusion The main pathogens of septicemia are Gram-negative bacilli, while various conditional pathogenic bacteria are rising to become pathogens, the majority of them are multi-drug resistant to antibiotics,so clinical physicians should have persistence to actively prevent and control nosocomial cross-infections.
