Abstract

Danyu No. 40 is a late-maturing hybrid, the hybrid showed high and stable yield at various experiment plots in various areas between 1993 - 2000. The result showed that it had very high ability of disease resistance, lodging resistance, drought resistance and wide adaptation. The suitable planting areas of Danyu No. 40 are most parts in Northeast China, and northern part of China where planting corn in the spring. The plant population were 45 000 seedlings/hm2.
