Abstract

[Objective]Objectives] To analyze chromosomal abnormality on male infertility, and to study the relations between chromosomal abnormality and male infertility. [Methods] Lymphocytes were cultured from peripheral blood of patients with male infertility, and then the chromosomes were analyzed. [Results] Of 200 cases of male infertility analysed, 59 cases were chromosomal abnormalities(29.5%). Sexual chromosome abnormalities were most commen, 31 cases of them were Klinefelter's syndrome(15.50%); 8 cases were autosome abnormalities(4.00%). [Conclusions] Chromosomal abnormalities, especially sexual chromosome abnormalities, are important cause of male infertility.
