Abstract
Objective:To analyze chromosomal abnormality on male infertility, and to study the relations between chromosomal abnormality and male infertility. Methods:Lymphocytes were cultured from peripheral blood of patients with male infertility, and then the chromosomes were analyzed. Results:Of 500 cases of male infertility analysed,78 cases were chromosomal abnormalities(15.6%).Sexual chromosome abnormalities were most common,34 cases of them were Klinefelter's syndrome(6.8%);32 cases were autosome abnormalities(6.4%).Conclusions:Chromosomal abnormalities, especially sexual chromosome abnormalities, are important cause of male infertility.
