CLAVICULAR HOOK PLATE COMBINED WITH DEWAR'S OPERATION FOR OLD ACROMIOCLAVICULAR DISLOCATION

Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of clavicular hook plate combined with Dewar's Operation for old acromioclavicular joint dislocation of Allman typeⅢ. Methods From May 2005 to June 2011,22 patients with Old Acromioclavicular Dislocation were treated by this new operation,Clavicular Hook Plate fixation Combined With Dewar's Operation. Results All 22 patients were followed up for 13～24 months.Referring to Constant's Standards,the rate of excellent and good results was 90.9%. Conclusion By using the clavicular hook plate combined with Dewar's Operation,and skilled surgical techniques,treatment of old acromioclavicular dislocation can get a satisfactory result.
