Abstract
Objective Evaluation the outcome of the clavicular hook plate and tension band for TossyⅢ type acromioclavicular joint dislocation. Methods From January 2002 to December 2010,we treated 64 patients with TossyⅢ type acromioclavicular joint dislocation,41 patients with TossyⅢ type acromioclavicular joint dislocation were treatment by clavicular hook plate,23 patients were treatment by tension band,follow-up after surgery. Results Assessment of shoulder function according to Karlsson standard, excellent were 97.6% in acromioclavicular hook plate group, while 73.9% in tension band group.Clavicular hook plate group were better than the tension band group. Conclusion Clavicular hook plate is the best method to treat acromioclavicular joint dislocation.
