Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between interleukin-6 gene-174C/G polymorphism and cerebral infarction in Tangshan Hans population. Methods 118 patients with cerebral infarction and 154 normal people were recruited. All participants were genotyped for the interleukin-6 gene at the-174C/G locus using PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism method. Results Genotype of interleukin-6 gene-174 was all GG.Conclussion There was not interleukin-6 gene-174G/C polymorphism in Tangshan Hans population.Interleukin-6 gene-174C/G polymorphism may be not associated with susceptibility to cerebral infarction
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
