Abstract

Objective To observe the clinical effects of modified“Xuanfu Daizhe Decoction” in preventing vomiting induced by interventional chemotherapy.Methods Sixty subjects were randomized into two groups:treatment group in which 30 cases were treated with this Decoction and another 30 cases were treated with Ondansetron.Results The effective rate was 70% in treatment group and 80% in control group,with no difference between the two rates( P 0.05).Conclusion This Decoction is effective for the prevention of chemotherapeutic vomting.
