On Contradiction of Liang Qichao's Concept of History

Abstract

Liang Qichao is the founder and practitioner of history theory of modern Chinese bourgeoisie.His concept of history was formed from founding new science of history as well as criticizing the old one.Liang's concept of history is pluralistic but changeable.Liang's ideological elements are both progressive and reasonable yet with contradictory viewpoints,and consequently it's difficult for Liang Qichao to make his statement consistent.
