On Liang Qichao's Concept of the State

Liang Qichao's view of state was formed at the beginning of the 20th century when China was in danger of extinction.Liang Qichao believed the state should have its own volition and should be above all social classes and individuals.This view constituted his political and ideological watershed;his thought on constitution,parliament,and autonomy differed greatly prior to and after this period in connotation and meaning.
