Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect and related clinical factors of endoscopic surgery for chronic sinusitis and polyps. Methods Totally 207 patients with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps treatment for patients with endoscopic sinus surgery, patients were followed up for 1 year. Results All patients were handled by dressing and endoscopic follow-up 1 year later,on the statistical treatment,to cure 173 patients(83.6%),improved in 24 patients(11.6%),ineffective in 10 cases(4.8%) The total effective rate was 95.2%.Postoperative complications: 3 cases of eyelid swelling and congestion, after giving cold compress,24h later the heat compress and disappear after a few days;sinus bleeding in 2 cases may be due to vasoconstriction;middle turbinate and nasal septum in 2 cases, after the change drug treatment to be lifted. No serious complications occurred. Conclusions Endoscopic surgery for chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, effective, minimally invasive, familiar with the sinus anatomy, skilled surgical procedure, strict control of blood loss and postoperative follow-up play a key to improve the cure rate of surgery.
