Abstract
Taking 1 year old dormant shoots as the materials,electric conductivity of 7 pear cultivars were determined.We studied on the soluble sugar and proline content and changing regulation of seven pear cultivars with different cold resistance during the dormancy stage.The results showed that the contents of soluble sugar and proline increased gradually with the reducing of temperature.The stronger cold resistance cultivars had higher soluble sugar content.The soluble sugar had positively high significance related to the cold resistance,but the proline content had no obvious correlation with the cold hardiness.
