Abstract

Objective To compare the therapeutic effects of inhaled Budesonide alone and combination of Montelukast in children with moderate to severe Asthma. Methods Seventy-six cases patients with modetate to severe asthma in our hospital were divided randomly into observation group(38 cases) and control group(38 cases).Besides routine therapy, nebulization of Budesonide was given to the patients in control group, while nebulization of Budesonide combined oral Montelukast was given to patients in observation group. Results The total effective rate of observation group was obviously better than control group(P 0.05);the improvement of symptoms in day and in night and clinical indicators(FVC,FEV and PEF) of observation group was much better than control group(P 0.05);There was no adverse effects in two groups.Conclution It is effective to threat children with moderate to severe Asthma, and it is worthy of apphying in clinical practice.
