Abstract
Objective To investigate the application value of four parameters of platelet in the patients with cirrhosis after viral hepatitis. Methods 120 patients with cirrhosis after viral hepatitis and 100 healthy people in our hospital were collected. The XS-1000i five categories automated hematology analyzer was adopted to detect the four parameters of platelet. Results The measured platelet(PLT) and platelet hematocrit(PCT) in the cirrhosis group were significantly lower than those in the healthy group(P0.05),and the mean platelet volume(MPV) and platelet volume distribution width(PDW) were slightly lower than those in the healthy group. Conclusion The abnormal changes of platelet parameters in the patients with cirrhosis after viral hepatitis may reflect the changes of platelet function and also implicate the prognosis, which could be helpful to the diagnosis and treatment in clinic.
