Abstract

Objective To study the changes of platelet parameters in the patients with acute, chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis. Methods PLT,MPV and PDW levels in 50 normal controls,50 patients with acute hepatits,55 patients with chronic hepatitis and 55 patients with liver cirrhosis were tested by the XE-2100 Automatic Blood Cell Analyzer. Results PLT in all patients were lower and PDW were higher than those in the normal control, with the most significant difference(P0.01);but MPV didn't have the significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The changes of platelet parameters are related to the degree of the damage to liver function, the test is very significant for the clinical treatment and prognosis prediction.
