Abstract

A method was developed for the determination of sulfachlorpyrazine and sulfachlorpyridiazine in chicken tissues by high-performance liquid chromatography. The two sulfonamides residues in chicken tissues were extracted with acetonitrile and acetone. The extracts were defatted with hexane and purified by a positive ion exchanging MCX cartridge.sulfachlorpyrazine and sulfachlorpyridiazine were determined by HPLC on C18 column with ultraviolet detection at 270 nm,and mobile phase was acetonitrile-0.017 mol/L phosphoric acid(32/68).Under above chromatography conditions, the response for sulfachlorpyrazine and sulfachlorpyridiazine was linear in the range of 0.02-1.0 fig/L(r0.999 7).Recoveries at fortified level of 50,100 and 200μg/kg in chicken tissues ranged from 70%to 85%,the within-day coefficient variation(C.V) and between-day C.V were less than 8%and 10%respectively.The detection limits were 0.02 mg/kg,the detection quantity were 0.05 mg/kg.This method could meet the demand of residue determination of sulfachlorpyrazine and sulfachlorpyridiazine in chicken tissues.
