Abstract

Objective:To study the relations between the levels of serum interleukin-1β,6,8,18and acute coronary syndrome(ACS)and their clinical significance.Methods:Forty-nine patients with ACS,21patients with stable angina pectoris(SAP),and18health persons were studied. The levels of serum Interleukin-1β,6,8were measured by radioimmunoassay, and Interleukin-18by ELISA.Results:The levels of serum IL-1β,6,8,18in patients with ACS was significantly higher than that with SAP and health persons respectively and also had exˉcellent negative linear correlation with EF.Conclusion:The levels of serum IL-1β,6,8,18can reflect the severity and unstable status of AS plague. So they may be clinically apply to monitor that.Because their excellent correlation with EF,they may presumably become the predictors of cardiovascular events.
