Abstract
OBJECTIVE To obtain the best extraction technology of salvianolic acid B from salvia miltiorrhiza.METHODS We used HPLC to determine the content of salvianolic acid B,and used rthogonal experiment to investigate the effects of the concentration and quantity of ethanol,extraction time,temperature to the extraction technology of salvianolic acid B.RESULTS The other factors can significantly affect the yield of salvianolic acid B except extraction time,while the concentration of ethanol and temperature can affect the content of salvianolic acid B significantly.So we got the best extraction technology:using 6-fold 70% ethanol to extract for 1 hour in 50℃.CONCLUSION We elevated the yield of salvianolic acid B through optimizing the extraction technology.It can be used extensively to extract salvianolic acid B from salvia miltiorrhiza.
