Abstract
【Objective】To evaluate the clinical application and effects of magnetic attachment denture.【Method】95 KennedyⅠdentition defection cases from 2005 to 2009 in our hospital were chosen.The subjects were divided into magnetic attachments denture group(n = 33),cobalt chromium alloy stents denture group(n = 30),and traditional removable partial denture group(n = 32).All the cases were followed up for 6 to 60 months.【Results】 The satisfaction of dentures in retention,masticatory function,comfort and esthetic in magnetic attachments denture group are significantly higher than the two other groups.【Conclusion】 Magnetic attachment removable denture is an effective and reliable method in restoration of dentition defect.
