Clinical Observation of Curative Effect of Tongxinluo Capsule of Unstable Angina Pectoris

Objective:To investigate the therapeutic effect of Tongxinluo for unstable angina pectoris. Methods: 60 patients with unstable angina pectoris were randomly divided into two groups. The control group(30cases)was treated with routine therapy,and the treatment group (30cases)was treated with Tongxinluo capsule combined with routine therapy. A treatment course was 8 weeks for both groups. The C reactive protein (CRP) level and Hemorrheology before and after treatment were observed in both groups, and the angina pectoris of patients was observed for 8 weeks. Results: After treatment, CRP level and Hemorrheology in treatment group were increased significantly (P0.01), and Hemorrheology in control group was increased significantly,too (P0.05). There were significant differences in CRP level,Hemorrheology and angina pectoris between treatment group and control group after treatment (P0.01, P0.05). Conclusion: Tongxinluo capsule can decrease CRP level and the viscosity of blood and improve myocardial ischemia. So it is an effective drug for treating unstable angina pectoris disease.
