Abstract

[Objective]To observe the effect of Rouganxiaozheng liquid(RL)on the expression of TIMP-1 and TGFβ1 in liver tissue of hepatic cirrhotic rats.[Methods]Hepatic cirrhosis model was induced by composite factors. All the rats were devided into five groups:normal group, model group, control group(Fufangbiejiaruangan tablet),high and low-dose RL group.Pathological histology of hepatic tissue and the expression of TIMP-1 and TGFβ1 in liver tissue were observed.[Results]Compared with the normal group, normal hepatic lobules in the model group disappeared and fibroplasias and pseudolobuli formed;TIMP-1 and TGFβ1 expressions in the liver tissue were increased obviously.Compared with the model group, pathological histology of each treatment group was improved, the expressions of TIMP-1 and TGFβ1 in the liver tissue were decreased apparently.[Conclusion]RL could obviously decrease the expressions of TIMP-1 and TGFβ1 in the liver tissue of cirrhosis rats, resulting in anti-hepatic cirrhosis effect.
