Abstract
Objectives:Giving the cold gargle before eating, it may relieve the pain, be helpful for taking food, and contribute to the healing of the wound. Method:Before taking food,use clod gargle (4~8 ℃ 0.9% Sodium Chloride) for 30 seconds, and repeat for 2~3 times. Result:Using the cold gargle before eating can release the pain of all the patients, and taking food through the mouth was acceptant. The weight of the patients increased significantly (P0.05) and there was no wound infection case. Conclusion:Giving the cold gargle before eating is a simple,feasible,acceptant method which may relieve the pain and accelerate the healing of the wound effectively.
