Abstract

Objective: To explore the early drug ice gargle for patients with pharyngeal pain reducing effects of thyroid surgery.Methods: Chose our hospital 100 cases of thyroid patients after surgery from May to October in 2011,they were randomly divided into intervention group and control group with 50 cases in each group,the intervention group in operation after 6 h,12 h,24 h given 2% lidocaine combined with dexamethasone,hypertonic glucose and fully mixed into ice containing mouthwash,the control group wtih routine nursing after surgery.Results: The intervention group of pharyngeal pain scores were less than that of the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion: Thyroid postoperative early drug ice gargle can relieve the patient's pain of pharynx.
