The Quality-oriented Education is put forth in order to adapt to the objective situation home and abroad.It is put forth as a new requirement to the educational reality,as well as a requirement of the development of teaching theory and practice.The connotation of the quality-oriented education consists:the adherence to an education of all-round development;treating all students as the objective of education;an emphasis on such features as being life-long and sustainable;the respect for learners'personalities and nuances;permitting learners to put their initiatives and creativity at full play.To implement the quality-oriented education calls for us to have a correct understanding of the connotation and requirements of the quality-oriented education;it also calls for us to carry out further curriculum and teaching innovation,and to improve the teachers' professional quality.
