A Rose for Emily,a short fiction of William Faulkner narrates an inspiring gothic love story. This paper,from the angle of feminism,attempts to analyses Emily's mental course,and interpret the evitable tragedy of women's self-seeking in traditional man dominated society and cultural barriers.
