Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of losartan on ventricular remodeling after acute myocardial infarction (AMI). Methods:A total of 120 AMI patients were averagely divided into 3 groups randomly: losartan group (group A),captopril group (group B) and routine therapy group (group C). Ultrasound cardiography examinations were performed before treatment and 6 months later respectively. Results: The left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), stroke volume (SV) were worse (P0. 05) in group C. Compared with group C, the LVEDV, LVEF, SV were better than those of group C (P0. 05-0. 01) . those indexes of group A were better than those of group B (P0. 05). Conclusion: Losartan can obviously improve the ventricular remodeling after AMI
